Frequently asked questions
What is HideScore?
HideScore is a free way to follow sports without spoilers. It hides NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, soccer, and golf scores, highlights, and headlines until you choose to reveal them, so you can watch games on your own schedule.
How do HideScore's game ratings work?
Game ratings tell you how exciting a finished game was without revealing the score. Turn on ratings to sort by the best games and decide what is worth watching before you press play.
How can I watch sports highlights without spoilers?
Open HideScore before checking search, YouTube, league apps, or social feeds. Scores and winners stay hidden, ratings help you pick the best finished games, and each game card links to recap or condensed highlights when available.
Which sports and leagues does HideScore cover?
HideScore covers the NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, college basketball and football, golf, tennis, motorsports, combat sports, cricket, chess, poker, and soccer. Soccer includes the Premier League, MLS, Champions League, Europa League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Liga MX, NWSL, EFL Championship, Copa Libertadores, Saudi Pro League, and major international tournaments.
Why don't I see a league on the main screen?
The main screen shows a few leagues at a time. Open Settings to choose your columns or use a column heading to switch leagues. Settings lists every supported league year-round in the In season and Offseason groups, and saved offseason picks return automatically when play resumes. The main switcher generally stays seasonal; NBA remains selectable during its offseason for news and trades. You can choose favorite teams from supported leagues year-round.
How do the separate soccer leagues work?
Each competition is its own league in HideScore, so La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Premier League, Champions League, and the others can each have their own score column, news, teams, and highlights. Pick the competitions you follow in Settings.
Is HideScore free?
Yes. HideScore is completely free, with no ads. It works without an account — your favorite teams and preferences are saved on your device — and it uses only privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. You can optionally sign in with Apple or Google to sync your settings across devices.
Is there a HideScore app?
Yes. HideScore is a free iOS app on the App Store, and it also works in any web browser at hidescore.com.
Who makes HideScore?
HideScore is built and maintained by Jacob Heifetz-Licht, an independent developer in New York known online as JacobHL. HideScore is one of several tools he builds and runs, which you can see at jacobhl.com.
